While these assessments are not mandated by the Colorado Department of Education, we consider them to be useful as a demonstration of student competency.

Coming soon! In order to help our community understand how student academic performance in our district compares to that of other students nationwide, we administer several nationally normed tests including NWEA MAP. You can find the results in this section.

Consistent with Federal and State guidelines, we produce school and district performance framework (SPF/DPF) reports. You may find these, which include CMAS, SAT/PSAT, English Language Proficiency, dropout, matriculation, and graduation rates on the Colorado Department of Education website.

To meet future workforce needs, the Colorado Department of Higher Education (CDHE) and the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) want 66 percent of Coloradans to attain a postsecondary degree or credential by 2025. As such, it is important to ensure Monte Vista's high school graduates are enrolling and succeeding in career-connected postsecondary education.
